Q.  Is it legal to get a commission on a mortgage and real estate transaction? 

A
.  Yes.  Most states allow you to perform both sides of the transaction, the real estate and the loan, as long as you provide proper disclosures and perform certain tasks during the process.

The New Jersey Real Estate License Act- Statute and Rule 

11:5-7.1 (Prohibition against licensees receiving compensation for dual representation in the sale or rental transaction)
(g) Any real estate licensee who is individually employed as a mortgage solicitor by a licensed mortgage banker or mortgage broker and registered in compliance with applicable law and the rules of the Department of Banking and Insurance may solicit and accept compensation from his or her licensed mortgage employer for providing mortgage services in residential mortgage transactions.


Q.  Can I get paid on a refinance transaction?

A.
  Yes.  You can work on refinance loans increasing your potential income.
 
Q.  Do I need mortgage experience?

A.  No.  An experienced loan officer will be assigned to you as you mentor to pre-qualify and structure your deals.

Q.  Will I need license?

A.  Yes.  You are required to have a mortgage loan originator's license.  Ameriwealth Mortgage will provide this for you and discount it's fee ($100) from the commission of you first deal.

Q.  How soon can I begin to send in my deals?

A.  Immediately.  You will have to fill out an employment application and we will apply for your license while the deal is in processing.

Q.  Can I as a Broker sign up my office as an Ameriwealth  Agent Partner?

A.  Yes.  By doing so, you as a broker will benefit from all deals closed by your agents.
